They say weddings are a celebration of love. For us, our friends, the Simwanzas’ wedding became something even more special, it was the quiet beginning of our own love story.

Our journey didn’t begin with a single magical glance across a crowded room. Instead, it unfolded gently over weeks of laughter, music, and shared moments during wedding rehearsals. As we practiced our steps in the lineup, friendship grew naturally between the counts, the cues, and the joyful anticipation of celebrating our friends.

Ironically, we weren’t even dance partners. Yet, we’ve come to see that while we were focused on the choreography for someone else’s big day, God was the Master Choreographer behind the scenes. We discovered a rhythm of our own that we now recognize as a Divine appointment, a heartbeat orchestrated by the One who knows us better than we know ourselves. It was His grace that turned a simple rehearsal into a sanctuary where two souls could find their match.

Two months after witnessing our dear friends say their vows, we finally stepped out on our first official date. It was then we realized those rehearsal evenings had quietly been writing the first chapter of something far greater, a beautiful journey prepared for us by the Lord.

Today, we are no longer just part of the lineup. We are stepping into Holy Matrimony ourselves, trusting that the same God who brought us together will be the center of the home we build.
